Tim did the 10k and Anna did the 1K. We saw the Easter bunny, did face painting and had so much fun on the paddle boards that we missed the Easter egg hunt - oops! Anna was sad about that so we had Yogurtini on the way home to make up for it. Overall it was a wonderful day!

Spring Memories
Anna had been eyeing the cookies at Whole Foods, so yesterday we splurged on an Easter egg shaped sugar cookie. On the way out of the store we noticed the beautiful display of Easter Lilies and Hydrangeas. It brought back some sweet childhood memories of my grandmother, Clara (where Anna's middle name, Claire, comes from) and the huge Hydrangea bushes she grew in her yard. Every spring they would be totally covered with blooms in all shades of pink, blue and purple. Thank you Lord for this beautiful memory!

People Who Made A Difference - Video Montage
Anna portrayed Jane Addams - the first American woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for her work with social reform and women's right to vote. Jane Addams opened one of the first settlement houses in the US - Hull House in Chicago, IL. Hull House offered poor immigrant families a play to stay and get a hot meal. Jane Addams also provided one of the first kindergartens which stressed the importance of a well-rounded education, including art and music, for children.

Palm Sunday
Anna and her friend Lizzy enjoyed parading through the big church with their palm branches. Happy Palm Sunday!
Now they are on a big snow adventure in the back yard and have gone all the way across the gully!!
Now, will they make it back??? Yep, looks like rolling back down the hill is working pretty well.
They don't even seem cold!!
