Surprise Dinner Guest and Show!

We called Anna to the dinner table last night and look who came crawling down the hall. What a surprise!  Following dinner, Anna Skyped Meema and Boppa and put on a show for all of us. She danced to four different songs with costume changes in between. The big finish was  "Who Let the Dogs Out" dressed as Scooby Doo! 

3rd grade school pictures

Today is third grade school picture day. I think the "do" will stay in place. It passed the jump rope test!  Anna is really into jump roping right now. She loves to challenge her dad to see how many they can do without a miss.  

3rd grade begins!

I can't believe we have a third-grader! School starts today. Good luck Anna!  We are very excited about Anna's teacher, Mrs. Lopez, and the slightly smaller class size.  Anna is excited about recess!

Kids Tune-up Triathlon

Anna and her friend Ali had a great race today at the Highlands Ranch rec. center.  It was Ali's first ever triathlon and she did an awesome job!!  

Anna placed 3 in the 7-9 year old division and was only beat out by two 9 year old boys. Way to go Anna!!  

Summer Song

Anna and I are having a summer picnic at the park. We made up a summer song.  "I love summer, yes I do.  I love summer, because I'm spending time with you!"
